Recently, a delegation led by the Chairman of Protus Group held an exchange meeting in Pingyang with local government departments and representatives from several financial institutions. During the meeting, the participants engaged in pragmatic and in-depth discussions on topics such as strengthening collaboration mechanisms and leveraging supply chain-finance synergy to empower the development of real economy enterprises.

Focusing on real industry Service, Protus Group Shares Practical Experience

During the exchange, Protus Group presented its business practices and development in the Vietnamese market.

Protus Group was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Singapore. It is a multinational group dedicated to building a supply chain infrastructure platform. By integrating supply chain, technology, and financial services, Protus Group has long focused on combining on-the-ground operational experience with digital tools and risk control models to enhance Service efficiency for real economy enterprises.

As a key operating entity of Protus Group in Vietnam, Protus Vietnam has continuously engaged in the day-to-day operations and supply chain activities of local manufacturing and processing companies while providing Service to them. This hands-on involvement has enabled Protus Vietnam to develop a deep understanding of the challenges these enterprises face at different stages of development, particularly regarding raw material procurement capabilities and capacity utilization. Currently, Protus Group’s global transaction volume exceeds US$20 billion, with its Vietnam-based operations accounting for over US$30 million.

Mr. Gao Minghui, Chairman of Protus Group, stated that the current macroeconomic environment remains uncertain. How to better align with enterprises’ actual business scenarios and foster synergy through multi-party collaboration is a crucial direction for supporting steady regional economic development and industrial upgrading.

Pingyang has a solid industrial foundation, and its packaging industry enjoys obvious cluster advantages.

As an important industrial and manufacturing hub in southern Vietnam, Binh Duong boasts a solid manufacturing foundation, a high concentration of industrial parks, and relatively complete industrial chain support. Industries such as packaging, food processing, agricultural product processing, and export-oriented manufacturing are thriving in the region, with a strong reliance on upstream–downstream collaboration.

Taking the packaging and related supporting industries as an example, Pingyang has already formed a relatively mature industrial cluster. This industry generally features upfront raw material procurement, rapid order cycles, and stringent delivery time requirements, which place higher demands on enterprises' inventory turnover efficiency and supply chain stability.

Mr. Gao Minghui stated that Protus Group has accumulated systematic Service experience in the packaging industry. By aligning with companies’ production cycles and order rhythms, the company can offer supply chain support solutions that better meet their operational needs. For example, through a flexible support model that does not rely on collateral but is based on genuine trade and orders, Protus Group helps enterprises revitalize their cash flow, enhance their fulfillment capabilities, and improve operational stability.

Explore collaborative mechanisms to jointly provide Service for regional enterprises and industrial upgrading.

At the meeting, representatives from financial institutions shared their practical experiences in supporting the development of manufacturing and SMEs from the perspective of serving the real economy. Meanwhile, government representatives, in light of Pinyang’s industrial planning and business environment development, outlined the region’s overall approach to promoting industrial upgrading and high-quality enterprise development.

Based on Pingyang’s current industrial structure and stage of development, Protus Group and representatives from financial institutions engaged in in-depth discussions on the following areas of cooperation: first, how to explore, within a compliance framework, mechanisms for sharing operational information and credit profiles of industrial clients; second, how to better understand the operational rhythms and specific needs of manufacturing and packaging-oriented processing enterprises; and third, how to strengthen local-level communication and collaboration to jointly enhance their ability to assess companies’ growth stages and actual needs.

All parties unanimously agreed that multi-party collaboration will help provide more precise Service to Pingyang’s local manufacturing industry and SMEs, better support enterprises in their steady growth during capacity expansion, transformation, and upgrading, and play a positive role in enhancing the overall resilience and sustainability of the regional industry.

This exchange has laid a solid foundation for further communication among various institutions in Pingyang regarding industry-finance collaboration. Moving forward, Protus Group will continue to adhere to a long-termist philosophy. Leveraging its practical experience gained on the front lines of industry, the company will maintain active dialogue with government departments and financial institutions. In supporting enterprises’ stable operations and driving regional industrial upgrades, Protus Group will persistently explore more pragmatic and viable collaboration models.
