On July 31, 2025, a delegation from Protus Group, a Singapore-based expert in supply chain structure services, met with the Finance Department of Tay Ninh Province in Vietnam. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the theme of “Breaking Through Bottlenecks to Enterprise Growth and Driving Regional Industrial Upgrading.”

Guests attending the reception meeting included:

From the Department of Finance: Mr. Tran Dinh Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, chaired the meeting; Ms. Tran Ngoc Nhung, Director of the Enterprise Promotion and Support Center; Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Nhi, Specialist at the Enterprise Promotion and Support Center; Ms. Bien Ngo Huong Quynh, Specialist at the Enterprise Promotion and Support Center; Mr. Nguyen Vu Dat, Specialist at the Enterprise Promotion and Support Center; and Ms. Nguyen Tuong Oanh, Specialist at the Enterprise Promotion and Support Center.

On the side of the Economic Zone Management Committee: Mr. Vo Anh Linh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Committee; Mr. Tran Vinh Thai, Deputy Head of the Planning and Investment Department.

Mr. Chau Thanh Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

From the Department of Foreign Affairs: Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Quyen, Deputy Head of the Cooperation and Consular Affairs Department.

Protus Group was led by Chairman and President Mr. Gao Minghui, with core executives such as Liu Zhiyong, General Manager of the Vietnam branch, and Wang Li, Director of Marketing, in attendance.

Faced with the growth challenges of enterprises, structural solutions are more practical.

At the meeting, Protus Group, drawing on its many years of deep-rooted experience in the Vietnamese market, shared with the Finance Department of Tay Ninh Province the common pain points currently faced by numerous local enterprises:

1. There are orders, but insufficient capability to procure raw materials or organize production; production capacity cannot meet customer demands.

2. The goods have been sold, but the payment is slow, which makes it impossible to continue operations or expand the scale.

3. There are conflicts in the settlement methods in trade (for example, you want cash, but the other party can only issue a letter of credit).

4. Lack of customers? Or customers are unwilling to buy your products? Or no money for marketing after production? In short, sales volume cannot be increased.

Behind these issues lie the most common “structural constraints” faced by Vietnamese enterprises during their critical phases of capacity expansion, internationalization, and efficiency improvement. Mr. Gao Minghui, Chairman and President of Protus Group, emphasized: Rather than letting companies struggle to cope as they grow, it is better to start with the supply chain structure and proactively design a stable and controllable growth path.

Typical Case: Helping a Starch Enterprise in Kon Tum Achieve Fivefold Growth

During the sharing session, Protus Group specifically introduced a benchmark case from Kon Tum:

A modified starch company faced immense delivery pressure due to a sudden surge in overseas orders, but was hampered by raw material shortages, inefficient inventory turnover, and a lack of access to relevant resources. As a result, the company had to turn down multiple orders within half a year, resulting in losses exceeding VND 50 billion. Since partnering with Protus Group in 2023, Protus Group has assisted the company in sourcing raw materials and provided credit terms along with payment coordination mechanisms. This collaboration has shortened the project delivery cycle by 40% and kept the accounts receivable collection period within 20 days. Ultimately, the company achieved a fivefold increase in revenue within one year, becoming a prime example of a business that confidently accepts orders and profitably executes them.

It's not just about growth; it's about "co-building and sharing".

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Singapore, Protus Group is a leading provider of supply chain structure design and execution services in Southeast Asia, with cumulative transaction value exceeding US$20 billion. Since entering Vietnam in 2021, the company has expanded its reach across multiple core industries, including deep processing of agricultural products, plastics and chemicals, packaging, medical devices, non-ferrous metals, and consumer goods. Protus Group has helped numerous Vietnamese enterprises address critical challenges during their growth phases, achieving a total transaction volume of over US$20 million while maintaining a 100% Service renewal rate.

A relevant official from the Finance Department of Tay Ninh Province stated: “Tay Ninh is promoting high-quality industrial development and hopes to introduce advanced, successful experiences, efficient management practices, and practical Service to assist local enterprises in their growth. Protus possesses professional expertise and a strong track record in implementation, enabling our local businesses to ‘dare to take orders and dare to expand production.’ It will also help strengthen the industrial foundation across our entire province.”

At the meeting, Mr. Gao Minghui stated: “This is not merely a commercial endeavor; it also entails assuming long-term responsibilities. We hope that Vietnamese enterprises can not only ‘handle the orders’ but also ‘scale up effectively.’ Protus aims to not only help its clients grow but also work with local governments to co-build a sustainable industrial system with endogenous momentum.”

Mr. Gao Minghui also stated that in the future, Protus will continue to be rooted in Vietnam, fully leveraging the advantages of Singaporean enterprises. It will collaborate with governments at all levels, industrial parks, industry leaders, and associations to achieve three major goals: industrial upgrading, regional development, and international connectivity. By doing so, Protus aims to provide enterprises with a stable and controllable growth path, thereby building a more resilient and reliable supply chain development ecosystem.
