Breakthrough supply chain solutions supporting Vietnamese businesses from Protus Group

(Dan Tri) - At the "Singapore-Ho Chi Minh City Business Exchange Forum" on August 28, Protus Group shared a groundbreaking supply chain solution to help Vietnamese businesses achieve sustainable growth.

The “Singapore-Ho Chi Minh City Business Exchange Forum” Activity, co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Trade Promotion and Investment (ITPC) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) in Singapore, brought together numerous guests, including representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, the management boards of Ho Chi Minh City’s export processing zones and industrial parks, as well as leading enterprises such as Protus Group. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on bilateral economic cooperation, outlined strategies to upgrade industries, and paved the way for future potential collaboration projects.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Amy Wee, SBF’s Regional Head for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam, emphasized the strategic economic and trade partnership between Singapore and Vietnam. She expressed her hope that businesses from both countries would strengthen their ties, jointly capitalize on, and disseminate new development opportunities.

As a prominent enterprise in the supply chain solutions sector, Mr. Gao Minghui, Chairman and CEO of Protus Group, was invited to deliver a keynote speech, drawing significant attention from leaders and business representatives. Mr. Gao analyzed that Singapore currently leads in foreign direct investment into Vietnam, while Vietnam stands out as the most dynamic manufacturing and consumer market in ASEAN, boasting impressive growth rates.

Rather than just theoretical talk, Mr. Gao provided real-life examples to illustrate how Protus helps Vietnamese enterprises break bottlenecks and surpass growth thresholds, enabling them to move forward with confidence. According to a Protus representative, a large cassava starch processing plant in Kon Tum once received an enormous volume of orders from a Chinese conglomerate but had to turn down most of them due to limitations in sourcing fresh cassava roots, resulting in missed growth opportunities.

Protus Group’s intervention not only took over direct procurement to stabilize the supply chain but also restructured the entire supply chain, enabling the factory to operate at full capacity. Within just one year, both production scale and revenue quintupled—an impressive achievement that demonstrates how Protus has helped Vietnamese enterprises break down core barriers, optimize market potential, and strengthen their competitive position.
